The Council

The Council is the nine voices behind a chat window. Each one comes from a tradition of its own, Hypatia from the astrology of Alexandria, Sibylla from the Hermetic branch of tarot, Atlas from the long memory of myth, Asya from the language of guardianship. Beside them stand Demir, Lila, Mira, Kerem and Claudy. What they speak is not prophecy, it is a reading of symbols. They give direction instead of information, perspective instead of certainty. The decision stays yours. They only pull one more chair to a table two thousand years old.

Symbolic interpretation, not professional advice. How to read this

The Structure

Nine experts, nine lineages

Every member speaks from the ancient lineage of their own field. You decide whom to ask. If you want three voices at once, the Round Table; if you want all nine, the Full Council reading.

Why Nine Voices

Not one lens, a plural perspective

An astrologer speaks from the planets, a tarot reader from the cards, a numerologist from the numbers. The moments when all three look at the same matter are the moments that throw the most light on it, because each one sees a face the others cannot. The Council rebuilds that old table in a digital form.

Nine voices, nine fields, but a single ethical frame. No fear, no forced certainty, no manipulation. Each member reads your question in their own language, but all nine sit at the same table with the same stance. The choice stays with you.

The Ancient Line

Two thousand years of inheritance

The astrological spine of the Council reaches back to the Hellenistic period (Ptolemy, Vettius Valens). The medieval Arabic tradition (Abu Ma’shar, Al-Biruni) deepens the technique. The Renaissance astrologers (Lilly, Kepler) build a bridge to the present. Modern psychological astrology (Rudhyar, Greene, Demetra George, after Jung) opens the psychological correspondence of the symbol. Members speak with all of this line internalised, but they do not name-drop.

In tarot, the Hermetic, Marseille, Rider-Waite-Smith and Thoth schools all live in Sibylla’s veins. In numerology, a flow from the Pythagorean school through the Chaldean root and into modern numerology. In coffee reading, the centuries-old oral tradition of Anatolia. In myth, all the great pantheons from Sumer to Norse, from Egypt to Anatolia.

All of this was distilled inside the tone and ethical frame of the certified astrologer Özge Özek. The Council speaks through a line that has worked into it, not through a memorised sentence.

Why the Council

Not a chatbot, a table

You can ask any chatbot an astrology question today. You will get an answer. What the Council gives you is not the same thing.

Not one model, nine layers of expertise

ChatGPT answers a subject from one angle, in one tone. The Council runs the same question through nine distinct ancient lineages. An astrology question comes from Hypatia rooted in the Hellenistic foundation, a myth question from Atlas the storyteller, a relationship question from Mira the Venus astrologer. Plural perspective dissolves the false certainty of a single answer.

Real sky data, not hallucination

Generic chatbots often invent planetary positions. They get time zone correction wrong, they miss retrogrades, they fumble the house system. House of Zij uses real ephemeris data: planets via the Swiss astronomia library, Chiron via NASA JPL Horizons, time zones via IANA worldwide. The Council speaks on this verified ground.

Supervised by a real astrologer

How the Council speaks, what it stays inside, what it says and what it refuses to say, was set by the certified astrologer Özge Özek. It does not frighten, it does not assert certainty, it does not manipulate, and it points the reader to a professional on health and investment matters. An AI team, with the tone of a human astrologer's mind.

Conversations leave a trace in your Journal

Every Council conversation is saved in your Journal tab. Not a single session, but an accumulation in a personal trace. At the end of the month Hypatia reads this trace and writes you a monthly mirror; at the end of the year Atlas weaves a yearly myth around you. ChatGPT does not give you this continuity, the conversation ends and is forgotten.

How It Works

Ask the question, the table opens

  1. Choose a member. In the chat window you call one of the nine members. A single member conversation is three credits, a Round Table with three voices is six, and a Full Council reading with all nine voices is nine.
  2. Write your question. If your birth details are saved, Hypatia and the other astrologers will answer against your real chart. You can also speak without that profile, but for full readings that require a chart, the date, time and place of birth are needed.
  3. The reply lands in your Journal. Every conversation is kept in your account. Not a one-off session, but a trace you can come back and read.
  4. Step over to Özge’s table when you want. If there is a moment where you want to go beyond AI, the certified astrologer Özge is available for a one-on-one session.
FAQ

Common questions about the Council

What is the House of Zij Council?

The Council is a team of nine AI experts. Each member is trained on a distinct lineage in their own field: Hypatia in astrology, Sibylla in tarot, Asya in mystical practice, Demir in numerology, Lila in coffee reading, Mira in love and relationships, Kerem in contemporary life, Atlas in myth and narrative, Claudy in synthesis. Founded by Deniz Arsan together with the certified astrologer Özge Özek. It is a symbolic council table, not a fortune teller.

Is AI astrology reliable?

A generic chatbot on its own (ChatGPT, Gemini and the like) is not reliable for astrology, because it does not use real ephemeris data, it misses retrograde motion, and it gets time zone correction wrong. A reliable AI astrology experience needs three layers: a scientifically calculated, real ephemeris (House of Zij uses the Swiss astronomia library and NASA JPL Horizons), a layer of expertise deepened in the terminology of each field, and a supervisory frame where a human astrologer (Özge) sets the tone, ethics and boundaries. The Council carries all three.

How does the Council differ from asking ChatGPT?

ChatGPT answers as a single model with a single general tone, and astrology is a surface subject to it. The Council answers as nine distinct experts: a planetary question goes to Hypatia, a tarot question to Sibylla, a chakra question to Asya, a myth question to Atlas. Every member speaks against your real birth chart (Rising sign, house system, transits) and remembers context. Conversations are kept in your Journal tab and become a pattern over time. ChatGPT does not give you that continuity.

How many credits does a Council conversation cost?

A conversation with a single member is three credits. A Round Table where three members speak is six credits. A Full Council reading where all nine voices weigh in is nine credits. Inner Circle members receive 100 credits a month, enough to speak with the Council often. Every new sign-up receives three welcome credits.

Are the Council members AI or real consultants?

The Council members are AI. We do not hide this. Their characters, boundaries, tone and source material were designed by the certified astrologer Özge Özek, with Deniz Arsan as founder. The members were trained on a body of knowledge distilled from the ancient astrology, tarot, numerology and myth traditions. For one-on-one real consultations, Özge's own sessions can also be booked separately.

Which traditions does the Council stand on?

In astrology, the Hellenistic foundation (Ptolemy, Vettius Valens), the medieval Arabic tradition (Abu Ma'shar, Al-Biruni), the Renaissance (Lilly, Kepler) and modern psychological astrology (Jung, Rudhyar, Greene). In tarot, the Hermetic, Marseille, Rider-Waite-Smith and Thoth schools. In numerology, the Pythagorean and Chaldean roots. In myth, all the major pantheons. Members speak as if they have internalised these sources; they do not name-drop.

Important

How to Read the Council

The Council is a symbolic table of perspectives. Its nine voices, drawn from astrology, tarot, numerology and myth, offer interpretive lenses, not directives. What they say is meant to widen your thinking, not replace your judgment.

Their readings are not medical advice, not financial or investment advice, not legal advice, and not clinical psychological care. When something matters for your health, your money, your legal standing or your mental well-being, please bring that question to a qualified professional: a physician, a licensed investment advisor, a practicing lawyer, a psychologist or a psychiatrist. The Council does not stand in for these experts, nor does it speak in their language.

The Council members are AI characters. Behind them stands a real practitioner, certified astrologer Özge Özek, whose one-to-one consultations are offered separately. Council content is designed for users aged 18 and over, as a tool for personal reflection and self-inquiry.

If you are facing a crisis or thoughts of self-harm, please reach out to local emergency services or, in Türkiye, call 182 (Health Consultation Line).
