1. Parties and Acceptance

This text sets out the terms of use between the House of Zij platform (the "Platform", "we") and the person who uses the site and services (the "User", "you").

Starting to use the site, creating a membership or using any service means that you have read and accepted these terms. If you do not accept the terms, you should not use the site.

The trade name, address and registry information of the legal entity operating the Platform are given on the Contact page.

2. Definition of the Service

House of Zij is a digital platform covering astrology (birth chart, transit, synastry, solar return, lunar nodes and similar readings), numerology, tarot and card readings with the House of Zij signature deck Mythic Arkana, coffee reading symbol interpretation, career tools, Audire audio content, Mythos mythology content, the Council chat and blog content.

The services are offered both for free and through membership tiers (the Courtyard and Inner Circle subscriptions). The scope of each tier is stated on the membership page.

3. Artificial Intelligence and Transparency

Most of the interpretations, reports and card readings on the Platform are produced with artificial intelligence working under the editorial discipline of House of Zij.

The Council members (Hypatia, Sibylla and the others) are artificial intelligence characters, not real people.

Özge is a real astrologer and sets the editorial direction of the Platform. The interpretations in the automated modules are produced with artificial intelligence.

4. Symbolic Guidance and Disclaimer

Astrology, tarot, numerology, coffee reading, Mythic Arkana and Mythos content is intended for cultural and symbolic guidance. It carries no scientific claim.

None of this content replaces a medical diagnosis or treatment, a legal opinion, financial or investment advice, or psychological or psychiatric counselling.

On matters such as health, law, money and a spiritual crisis, you must consult a qualified professional. In an emergency, reaching the relevant emergency lines is essential. The consequences of decisions you make based on the content on the Platform are yours.

5. Age Limit

The services are aimed at users aged 18 and over.

A person under 18 cannot create a membership or make a payment without the approval of a parent or guardian. A person who creates a membership is considered to have declared that they are 18 or older.

6. Account Security

The User is responsible for the confidentiality of the membership account and login details.

If you notice that your account has been used without permission, you must notify us without delay.

A membership account is personal. Sharing an account among more than one person is outside the scope of the membership.

7. Membership, Payment and Subscription

The Courtyard and Inner Circle memberships are billed according to the chosen period (monthly or yearly) and, unless stated otherwise, renew automatically at the end of the period.

Council credits are defined according to the membership period. Unless stated otherwise, unused credits do not carry over to the next period.

Current prices and the scope of each tier are shown on the membership page of the site. If a price change occurs, current subscribers are notified before the change takes effect.

Before payment, the essential characteristics, price and conditions of the product and service you are buying are also presented to you separately as pre contractual information.

8. Threshold Week (The Seven Day Threshold)

When a new user signs up, House of Zij opens the Inner Circle tier of access for seven (7) calendar days from the moment of registration. We call this the Threshold Week, or the Seven Day Threshold. During this period, on top of the three (3) credits normally granted at the Open Door tier, an additional five (5) credits are added as a one off bonus, bringing the starting balance to eight (8) credits.

Scope of access: throughout the Threshold Week you can reach Inner Circle content including the Cosmic Games, the My Journal space and its sub tabs, the deep tarot and Mythic Arkana readings, the long form articles, and individual Council chats. The scope may be adjusted from time to time, in a way that does not break the integrity of the experience.

Free of charge, no payment instrument: the Threshold Week carries no fee. We do not ask for a credit card, debit card, or any other payment instrument at sign up. At the end of the seven days no amount is charged and no payment instrument is debited automatically. This is the essential character of the Threshold Week.

End of the period and automatic downgrade: the Threshold Week ends on its own seven calendar days after it begins. At that moment your account moves automatically to the free Open Door tier, with no charge of any kind, and access to Inner Circle content ends. The personal records you created during the Threshold Week (My Journal notes, voice notes, Council chat history and the like) are not deleted; they remain on your account in a locked state. If you later move to a Courtyard or Inner Circle membership, access to those records is restored.

One Threshold Week per person: the Threshold Week is granted once per real person. To prevent the same user from claiming more than one Threshold Week, we run checks based on the canonical form of the email address provided at sign up, the IP address, and device information. A second or subsequent account that can reasonably be identified as belonging to the same person will not receive a Threshold Week. This control falls within our legitimate interest in preventing misuse of the service (KVKK Article 5/2-f).

Rights and obligations: the Threshold Week is offered to you at no cost and is a unilateral courtesy from House of Zij. Throughout the Threshold Week you remain subject to all of these Terms of Use and the community rules. Because the Threshold Week is free, no refund or other monetary claim can be raised during this period. If the service becomes temporarily unreachable due to a technical outage, maintenance, or other necessary causes, House of Zij undertakes to restore access within a reasonable time.

Changes to duration and scope: House of Zij reserves the right to change the duration, credit amount, or scope of the Threshold Week for future sign ups. Any change applies to users who sign up after it takes effect. Users who have already entered their Threshold Week before the change are not affected; their existing rights run until their own seven day period is complete.

9. Right of Withdrawal and Digital Content

Under Turkish Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and the Regulation on Distance Contracts, the consumer as a rule has a right of withdrawal.

However, for services performed immediately in an electronic environment and for digital content delivered to the consumer immediately, the right of withdrawal ends once performance has begun with the User's approval. One off reports and reading results that open the moment they are drawn fall within this scope.

Cancelling a subscription has effect going forward, not retroactively. When you cancel your subscription, your access continues until the end of your current billing period, after which the automatic renewal stops.

The detailed conditions for subscriptions and one off purchases are set out in the distance sales contract and the pre contractual information form presented separately for your approval at the moment of purchase.

10. Intellectual Property

All texts, images, card deck designs including Mythic Arkana, audio content, artificial intelligence characters, software and brand identity on the site belong to House of Zij and are protected under intellectual property rights.

Copying, reproducing, distributing and commercial use without permission are prohibited.

You are free to share your own reading result on your personal social media account, provided you do not remove the brand identity and do not alter the result in a misleading way.

11. Acceptable Use

Respectful communication is essential in the Council chat and in community areas. If insulting, harassing, discriminatory or threatening behaviour is detected, the account may be suspended.

Entering harmful, unlawful content, or content meant to manipulate the system, into the artificial intelligence chat features is prohibited. In such a case the session is closed and, if necessary, access to the account is restricted.

Accessing the site without permission through automated data collection tools, attempting to reverse engineer the service, or harming the infrastructure are prohibited.

12. Service Continuity and Limit of Liability

Utmost care is taken in delivering the services. However, temporary interruptions may occur due to situations such as an internet outage, third party infrastructure and API failures, and scheduled maintenance work.

No liability for compensation arises for indirect damages resulting from such interruptions. In the event of a significant disruption, Users are informed quickly and a reasonable solution is produced.

Liabilities that cannot be limited under applicable legislation are reserved.

13. Personal Data

All explanations regarding the processing of your personal data are set out in the Privacy Notice (KVKK) prepared under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

The law of the Republic of Türkiye applies to these terms.

For disputes arising from consumer transactions, the Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts have jurisdiction within the framework of the relevant monetary limits.

15. Updates to the Terms

These terms may be updated over time. For significant changes, members are informed by email and all visitors by an announcement on the site.

Continuing to use the site after an update means the new terms are accepted. The current text is always published on this page.
