Mind Trials is the play corner of House of Zij. We took the sweet old classics you already know, solitaire, sudoku, word games, and reimagined them with our own mystical world. The idea is simple: have a good time, clear your head, unwind a little.
Some days you just want to sit back and relax, other days you want a gentle challenge. You get both here. A break that refreshes your mind, makes you think now and then, yet always stays a pleasure. The familiar feel of old games, with a touch of stars, gods and symbols on top.
Twenty-one games, twenty-one kinds of delight. Trial of Zij tests your knowledge in the gentlest way, The Cipher of Hermes sets a name behind an ancient code for you to crack, The Oracle Awakens your intuition and vocabulary, Astral Grid your logic and sense of celestial geometry, Twelve Houses your strategy and patience, and The Zij Deck brings classic solitaire to life with our own deck, while Logica turns pure deduction into a mythic scene. The Olympian Gambit sets a single decisive chess move among the figures of Olympus. As the corner grows, new games will join.
And a little spark for those who like to compete: in Trial of Zij a fresh category opens each week, a leaderboard is kept, and the players with the highest scores are named on the wall of the hall. But there is no rush, play whenever you like, as much as you like.
