Frequently AskedThe details
Is the Open Door really always free?
Yes. The Open Door is an entry space that needs no registration. No ads, no hidden fees. All of the core practices stay open at all times.
Is there a yearly plan, and how much does it save?
There is. For those who choose to pay yearly we offer 2 months free, you pay for ten months and use twelve. The Courtyard is $64.90 a year, the Inner Circle $159.90 a year. The yearly amount is charged once, and the monthly equivalent works out to $5.41 for the Courtyard and $13.33 for the Inner Circle. Prices are in US dollars.
Can I cancel my membership whenever I want?
You can. You cancel with a single click from the membership panel, and your access continues until the end of your current billing period. With a yearly membership, cancelling stops the automatic renewal at the end of the period.
Can I get a refund?
The membership is a digital service that opens the moment your payment is approved. Because at checkout you confirm that the service starts immediately and you waive your right of withdrawal, no withdrawal based refund is made once the service has started (Distance Contracts Regulation art. 15/1-ğ). Cancellation is always possible; when you cancel, your access continues until the end of the period you paid for and the next period is not charged. The cases where a refund is made (such as duplicate charges, a missing renewal notice, or termination of the service) are listed on the Cancellation and Refund page.
How is payment taken, and what shows on my card statement?
Your payment is taken securely through our payment provider, Whop. Your card details are never stored on House of Zij servers. On your credit card statement this charge appears not as House of Zij but as “WHOP”, together with the amount you paid. That is expected, nothing is wrong. Once payment is complete, your membership and credits are applied to your account within a few minutes.
What does Council Chat mean?
A chat room reserved for the Inner Circle. Nine experts, each trained in their own field, answer your questions: Hypatia for astrology, Sibylla for tarot, Asya for mysticism, Demir for numerology, Lila for coffee reading, Mira for relationships, Kerem for contemporary life, Atlas for myth and storytelling, and Claudy for synthesis. You can put a question to a single expert, to a four member Round Table, or to all nine.
What is a credit, and how does it work?
A credit is the unit for asking the council a question. An Inner Circle membership gives 100 credits a month, a Courtyard membership 30 credits a month. A question to a single expert is 1 credit, a four member Round Table is 4 credits, and all nine together is 9 credits. Credits you do not use carry over to the next month. If they run short, you can buy a one off top up from the Mini, Standard or Plenty credit packs.
