Mythic Arkana
Seventy eight cards, seven pantheons, twenty two Major Paths. A deck that reaches from Greece and Rome to the banks of the Nile, from the Sumerian tablet to the Tengri sky, from the Anatolian mountains to the council of the Edda, all the way to the Vedic hymn. Kin to the tarot pattern, but every card carries a mythological turning point.
This deck is not invented. There are myths written, spoken and carved into stone over thousands of years, and we did two things with them. First, before turning each god and each event into a card, we read it in its own text. Second, we wrote the upright and reversed meanings of these cards by building a bridge between modern psychology and ancient symbol. That is why, when a card comes before you, it is not a shallow slogan that opens but the memory of the myth.
